RULES & REGULATIONS

Rules & Regulations are subject to change and may not be reflected on website.

These rules & regulations will be enforced for the safety and enjoyment of our guests. They are subject to change or modification as needed and new copies will be posted at the Campground Office.  A copy of these rules must be signed by each guest.

  • PURPOSE OF RULES. These rules are created for the purpose of preserving uniformity and quality of standards, convenience and enjoyment of all persons using the campground.

  • VISITORS. All Visitors must register with the campground office. All visitors need a pass issued from the campground office with date/site #, or vehicle may be towed at owner’s expense. There will be no subleasing of campers allowed.

  • PAYMENT. Nonpayment of rent or fines issued under the Camp Site Rental Agreement or Rules and Regulations is grounds for immediate removal from the campground.

  • EARLY LEAVE. If you check in monthly and decide to leave early, you will not be refunded.

  • PETS. Pets must be leashed, cleaned up after, not aggressive and not left unattended. Pets are limited to three (3) pets in total per site. Pets cannot be a nuisance to others (constant barking, whining, etc.). Do not leave doors or windows open on RV, if you are away from the site & pet is left inside the RV. No pets will be allowed to be tied or left outside. No pets will be allowed in the office or any campground buildings. The Park reserves the right to prohibit any pets or breeds at our discretion.

  • LOUD NOISE/DISTURBING OTHER PERSONS. Be considerate and keep the volume of your music, voices, and other noise to a reasonable level. Interfering with anyone’s use & enjoyment of the park, day/night is contrary to the Campground Rules & Regulations. DO NOT walk-through other sites. Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM and children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult during these hours.

  • RECREATIONAL VEHICLES. All recreational vehicles must be approved by the manager before being parked upon any site. No RVs will be able to be sold in the park without ownership approval. Fees will apply. Absolutely no “FOR SALE” signs will be allowed to be displayed. A valid copy of the VIN for campers must be supplied.

  • RECREATION VEHICLE EXTERIORS. Exteriors of the Recreational Vehicles must be kept clean and neat. All utility connections must be kept safe, leak proof and in operative condition at all times. Paint your camper tongues/bumpers if they are rusty. Unsightly materials (as determined by the managers) may not be hung from outside the Recreational Vehicle. Exterior location or storage of any icebox, stove, building material, furniture or similar items on the exterior of the Recreational Vehicle is strictly prohibited. Water should be shut off upon departure from the campground.

  • SITE MAINTENANCE. All sites must be maintained by the campers in a clean, well-kept and attractive fashion. If a site is neglected, the park manager will give the camper written notice to correct the deficiency. If the maintenance required in the written notice is not completed within 72 hours from the date of the notice, Campground Management has the right to enter the camp site and take corrective action without further notice. Camper(s) agrees to pay the costs of maintenance performed by management. No dumping of food scraps or cooking grease on the ground. It must be disposed of in the dumpsters provided and bagged properly.

  • SITE APPEARANCE. You are allowed outdoor chairs that you can easily move, but the following is not allowed: ladders or work equipment. tools, fuel cans, miscellaneous items stored outside or under your RV, appliances (such as but not limited to Freezers, Ovens, Hot Water Heaters, Refrigerators, etc.), furniture not intended for outdoor use, carpet not intended for outdoor use, camper or vehicle parts, and wooden or cardboard boxes. Satellite dishes must be on top of the camper and cannot be household dishes. Monthly Campers are allowed short plastic (Keeper) to store generator and fuel in. Tarps are not allowed for more than 24 hours. We must have a clear view under your camper and your site must look like you are camping, not living here.

  • PROPANE. Propane cylinders are required to be tied down, labeled with appropriate stickers, placed to the side of the camper and not attached to the camper. Tank must be 12 years or newer from the stamped date on your tank. If re-certified must be within 5 years or newer from (E) date. We do not allow LP tanks over 30LB and no more than the two (2) LP tanks that are on your camper and one (1) 20lb for cooking.

  • SITE USAGE. Towels, rugs, clothing or laundry of any kind may not be hung outdoors in view on any lot at any time, except for temporary periods, not exceeding 24 hours. No clothes lines will be erected on the campground and all drying racks will be dismantled when not in use to prevent injury to others. Dumping only allowed in approved dump stations. Washing of campers or other vehicles shall not take place on any site or upon any common area of the campground without the use of proper spray nozzle to prevent excess water flowing onto ground. No materials will be stored under the Recreational Vehicle and all materials or debris gathered or accumulated under the Recreation Vehicle must be removed immediately by the Camper upon request of the management. Pet tie outs must be removed when not in use so as not to damage mowers. Pet fences are permitted with written permission from management. If you put an approved pet fence, you are responsible for mowing inside the fenced area. No construction of containers, storage units, porches or stairs without written permission from management.

  • PARKING/VEHICLES. All visitors need a pass issued from the campground office with date/site #, or vehicle may be towed. Vehicles may be towed for expired tags, taking up multiple spaces, or parking in a non-parking space. Vehicles that appear not to be operational or with flat tires are also subject to towing. No mechanic work is allowed (changing oil, tires, etc.) Vehicles violating any of the above will be towed at the owner's expense. All vehicles must be parked in designated areas. None will be allowed to impede the streets.

  • RECREATIONAL FACILITIES. All recreational facilities within the campground are for the exclusive use of Campers, Registered Campers, and Registered Visitors. Registered Visitors must be accompanied by a Camper or a member of the campers’ family when using facilities of the campground. Children under the age of eighteen (18) must be accompanied by an adult when not at the campsite. All facilities and equipment are used at the risk of the individual using them.

  • SPEED LIMIT. The speed limit for all vehicles is five (5) miles per hour.

  • NO SOLICITATION OR BUSINESS UPON THE CAMPGROUND PREMISES. No person shall conduct any sale, provide any services for compensation, or otherwise engage in business upon the campground premises without first receiving the written consent of campground management in each instance. No person may come onto the campground premises for the purpose as solicitation or distribution of literature to campers, members of camper's family or guests.

  • GARBAGE. Garbage material must be placed in designated areas. Household waste is only allowed in dumpsters. No dumping of food scraps or cooking grease on the ground. It must be disposed of in the dumpsters provided and bagged properly. The following items are examples NOT to be placed in dumpsters, mattresses, furniture, or any large item, etc. These large items should be taken to a landfill or removed by a debris removal service.

  • COMMERCIAL PROPERTY. The campground is not a residential property therefore individuals are NOT PERMITTED to reside at the campground year round and use the camper or park model as a permanent residence. Campers may not receive daily mail at the campground. P.O. Boxes can be rented from the local post office. Occasional packages may be delivered with approval from management.

  • GOLF CARTS: All guests wishing to have a golf cart must sign a liability waiver and provide a proof of insurance and must have a current year sticker. No children under 16 will be allowed to operate them without supervision. You may not drive through another campsite at any time, or your privileges will be revoked.

  • FIREWORKS, FIREARMS & HUNTING Fireworks, Firearms, and Hunting are prohibited in the Campground at all times.

  • TENT CAMPING. No tent can be erected on any site without first contacting the office.

  • FIRES. No open campfires will be tolerated: fire rings, grills, or enclosed fires only.

  • UNLICENSED MOTOR VEHICLES, ALL TERRAIN VEHICLES. ATV’s, off-road motorcycles, dirt bikes or go-carts or any other non-highway unlicensed vehicle cannot be used in the park and on park roads.

  • PROFANITY AND VIOLENCE. Screaming, hollering, abusive language and boisterous and/or violent behavior is not permitted and will not be tolerated.

  • FREEZING WATER. During the months of November through April, you must use a heated water hose that is approved by management. No making your own heated hoses.

  • RV MOBILITY REQUIREMENT

  • All campers and recreational vehicles parked or stationed on the property must adhere to the following mobility requirements:

    • a. Operational Status:

      • The RV must be in good working order, with fully functional tires, brakes, and engine (if
        motorized).

      • All necessary registrations, licenses, and insurance must be current and valid.

    • b. Accessibility:

      • The RV must be positioned in a manner that allows for unobstructed removal from the property.

      • Owners must ensure that there are no physical barriers preventing the movement of the RV.

    • c. Movement Capability:

      • The owner must be capable of moving the RV within a reasonable time frame (e.g., within 24 hours of notice) for any required maintenance, safety reasons, or upon request by property management or regulatory authorities.

      • In cases where the owner is unable to personally move the RV, they must have an alternative arrangement (e.g., a hired towing service) that can fulfill this requirement.

  • Requirement for Physical Tent for Tent Camping

    • a. Physical Tent:

      • Campers must have prior permission from management to erect a physical tent .

      • Each tent camping guest must have a physical tent set up at their designated campsite.

      • The tent must be in good condition, free of significant damage, and suitable for providing shelter.

    • b. Setup and Maintenance:

      • The tent must be properly set up according to the manufacturer’s instructions to ensure stability
        and safety.

      • Guests are responsible for maintaining their tents in a safe and orderly manner throughout their
        stay.

    • c. Prohibited Shelter Types:

      • Alternative shelters such as tarps, hammocks without rainfly and bug netting, or makeshift structures are not permitted as substitutes for a physical tent.

  • Criminal Activity:

    • This policy applies to the Camper, Registered Campers, Registered Visitors, family members and any other invitee. Any and all criminal activity is strictly prohibited. Campground will immediately report any evidence of criminal activity to the proper authorities. The engagement in criminal activity by any person on the camp site is grounds to immediately terminate the campsite agreement.

    • In the event of any criminal activity in which the camper is directly or indirectly involved, The Campground will request that the camper vacate the property immediately. Failure to vacate will result in The Campground taking any legal action necessary to remove the camper from the premises. This includes but is not limited to illegal drug activity, criminal activity, domestic disturbances and violent behavior.

    • No person convicted of a sex related crime shall be permitted to stay at the campsite. The presence, even temporary, of an individual who has been convicted of a sex related crime is grounds for immediate termination of the campsite agreement and immediate removal of all parties from the campsite.

  • Terms & Conditions:

    • I agree, and shall cause my children, invitees and guests, to abide by the Rules and Regulations, including those rules and policies posted at the Campground Management Office or otherwise communicated in any manner by Walnut Grove Campground.

    • As a participant in a recreation activity, I am responsible for acting within the limits of my ability and heeding all warnings regarding participation in the activity. I will maintain control of myself and any equipment while participating in the activity and will refrain from acting in any manner that may cause or contribute to injury to myself or to others.

  • I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE Walnut Grove CK, LLC, d/b/a Walnut Grove Campground, its owners and agents from any and all liability to me, my children, my invitees/visitors, personal representatives, and heirs for any loss or damage on account of injury to person (including death) or loss or damage to property relating to, or arising out of, use and occupancy of the Walnut Grove Campground property, facilities, creek, beach, golf carts, and amenities, (collectively, the Premises) and any dangers and hazards associated with acts of nature such as changing weather conditions; high winds; thunder and lightning; temperature fluctuations; falling trees; tree limbs, ice; or encounters with wildlife.

  • I HEREBY AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS Walnut Grove Campground, and each of them, from any loss, liability, damage or cost (including attorney fees) they may incur due to injury (including death), damage or loss of property relating to use of the Premises by me, my children, and/or my invitees/visitors or due to any incidents that may occur during my stay. I understand that, although Walnut Grove Campground makes every reasonable effort to provide a secure environment, the security of my person, my belongings, and all persons registered in my party is my sole responsibility.

  • As a courtesy, our employees, if so requested, may assist with directing you to your designated campsite. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that the site will accommodate your specific RV and that you will not hit any branches, bollards, trees, etc. when positioning your RV on the campsite. You agree to indemnify and hold Walnut Grove CK, LLC, d/b/a Walnut Grove Campground, its owners and agents (collectively, “Walnut Grove Campground”) harmless from any loss, liability, damage or cost (including attorney’s fees) that may result from an employee assisting or directing you onto a campsite. Furthermore, you release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Walnut Grove Campground for any and all liability, loss, or property damage relating to an employee assisting/directing you to your site.

  • I understand that I am and remain personally liable to pay the total amount of my reservation prior to my scheduled check-in date, or at such earlier date communicated to me. If I fail to pay the total due, I agree that Walnut Grove CK, LLC may charge any remaining balance (in addition to any damage charges or other amounts owed under these Terms and Conditions) to any credit or debit card on file with my reservation. Any amounts due after 30 days will be subject to the maximum late charge permitted under state law.

  • The Premises are privately owned and THE Walnut Grove Campground RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE to anyone for any reason except for those prohibited by law. Walnut Grove Campground reserves the right to require any person or party it deems necessary to leave the campground based on violations of Park Rules or behavior management deems inappropriate or disturbing to others. Harassment or mistreatment of our staff or other guests, including but not limited to, racist comments or hate speech, will not be tolerated under any circumstances. I have read this notice and agree to comply with the Walnut Grove Campground Rules and Regulations. In addition, I understand that I am responsible for the actions of all persons registered in my party, including any children, and any visitors that visit during my stay. On behalf of each person in my party, I grant Walnut Grove Campground and its affiliated entities and promotional partners the right to include any photographic, video and other visual portrayals of each person in my party in any medium and for any purpose.

  • Animal Waiver

    • I hereby agree to the following regulations and conditions relating to my pet while camping at Walnut Grove CK LLC, d/b/a Walnut Grove Campground (“Campground”) with my pet.

    • Excluded Areas. I agree to keep my pet out of the following areas including, but not limited to, the office, playgrounds and pavilions.

    • Excluded Pets. I agree that the Campground has the sole discretion to exclude pets. The basis for exclusion may include, but is not limited to the following: breed-specific exclusions; due to their young age are exempted from state or local law vaccination requirements; are sick; are in heat; are aggressive, vicious, dangerous or potentially dangerous; require muzzling; or are easily frightened or sensitive, resulting in disruptive behavior (such as fighting or biting) in response to a stimulus.

    • Supervision. I agree to keep my pet on a leash or in a carrier while in all public areas of the Campground. I further agree to have my pet with me or a designated individual at all times, and understand that I may not leave the pet unattended at the campsite. I agree to prevent noise or any other disturbance by my pet, in the interest of other guests at the Campground.

    • Vaccinations. I represent and warrant that my pet is up to date on all vaccinations (including rabies and distemper) and flea treatments.

    • Disturbances. I agree that, should my pet create any disturbances, which cause complaints to be made to the management by other guests or employees of the Campground, at the request of a Campground employee, I will immediately make arrangements to house my pet elsewhere outside the Campground. Additionally, I understand and agree that if I do not find alternative housing for my pet after being asked to do so, I will be asked to leave the Campground and will not be issued a refund.

    • Assumption of Risk and Release. I understand that my permission to have my pet at the Campground with me is a privilege and not a contractual right. Such permission is expressly conditional upon my adherence to the terms of these rules and other rules in effect at any given time. I understand that the Campground may revoke such permission at any time for any reason. Additionally, I hereby assume all responsibility of risks, injury, damage, other harm that may occur while my pet is at the Campground or caused by my pet. Further, I hereby knowingly and voluntarily expressly release and discharge the Campground, its owner, its agents, its parent companies, members, managers, directors, officers and employees (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, injuries, demands, or causes of action, both present and future, whether known, unknown, anticipated or unanticipated, that me or my guests or invitees may have against any of the Released Parties arising out of or incident to my pet’s presence in the Campground, whether arising from any act or omission, whether negligent or otherwise, of me, my pet and/or any guest or invitee. I further agree to indemnify each of the Released Parties for any and all such claims, damages, liabilities, injuries, demands, or causes of action, including costs, expenses, and attorney’s fees arising as a result of or related to the presence of the pet at the Campground. This provision shall be enforceable to the fullest extent of the law.

    • Acknowledgment. By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read the foregoing Assumption of Risk & Release and fully understand its provisions and implications. My execution of this Release is entirely voluntary and intended to be binding on my heirs, executors, legal representatives and assigns.
      I have read this Animal Waiver and understand it is my responsibility to abide by the Rules. I further understand that it is my responsibility to ensure that my guests and invitees also comply with the Rules. Failure to adhere to the policies and rules set forth herein may result in my removal from the Campground without a refund.

  • CAMPING AND WATER RELATED ACTIVITIES WAIVER

    • I understand the rules and conditions upon which I am using accommodations, equipment, and using the rest of the associated property lodging and camping, and use of the swimming/bathing facilities. The sole responsibility for my safety lies with me. In agreeing with this, I acknowledge that outdoor and water activities and exposure to the natural elements and animals can be dangerous and sometimes result in injury and even death. Water facilities contain inherent risks, animals and insects can threaten and infect or injure, exposure to the elements can cause hypothermia, and sunburn, among other risks inherent in participating in camping, outdoor, and water activities. Alcohol and/or drugs do not mix safely with any outdoor activity. I certify that I am over the age of 18 (and assume responsibility for all guests under my reservation and for those under the age of 18). I hereby take all legal responsibility for bodily injury to myself or any other person and property as a result of my visit to (Walnut Grove Campground). Acknowledging this, I accept complete responsibility for myself and all members of my party while visiting Walnut Grove Campground and associated properties and while engaging in activities and or events at (Walnut Grove Campground) at my own risk. I will abide by the rules and accept all conditions: The property I use will be returned in the same condition in which it was allowed to be used by me and I will be responsible for all damage or loss that occurs during my usage period. I agree to hold harmless and to indemnify (Walnut Grove Campground) and its directors and officers, against all loss, damage, expense, and penalty on account of personal injury or property damage to the undersigned or to any minor child or children in the charge of the undersigned, howsoever arising, whether by act or acts or failure to act of the employees or animals of the said company or not. I acknowledge receipt of the property in good order and condition and further agree that (Walnut Grove Campground) and its board of directors, officers, and staff shall not be liable for consequential damages of any kind or nature from whatever cause arising, whether property or equipment is loaned. I enter into agreement freely with (Walnut Grove Campground) at my own risk, acknowledging the risks inherent in outdoor and river activities, and assume any and all responsibility for myself and all members of my party · All parties agree to and will comply with Federal, State, and County pollution laws and any other applicable laws and regulations.

  • FACILITIES

    • Because the facilities are to be used for the guests as a whole, private gatherings may occur only when approved by Walnut Grove Campground and do not exclude guests from the use of the same facilities during the time that the facilities are regularly available to the guests.

    • The use of playgrounds, basketball, and horseshoes is from 9:00 am until dusk.
      Walnut Grove Campground is a family campground and drugs of any kind are prohibited.

    • We are not responsible for your items on your site. Please secure valuables and personal items.

  • In case of emergency, Walnut Grove Campground is authorized to move any guest’s RV, equipment or vehicles without notice or liability.

  • Any violation of the Walnut Grove Campground Rules and Regulations may, in the sole discretion of the Campground Manager, result in a fine not to exceed $1,000.00 or immediate termination of the Camp Site Rental Agreement and immediate removal from Walnut Grove Campground.
